A History of England by The Right Honorable H.O. Arnold-Forster, subtitle ‘From the Landing of Julius Caesar to the Present Day’ (1901).

This high-quality, library-bound reprint of the 1907 edition contains ‘about 250 illustrations’. The text and illustrations have been digitally improved including a color image of the Union Jack facing the title page.

Suited for students in Forms 2 thru 4 reading English History, this book is a good continuation of HE Marshall’s, Our Island Story. Arnold-Forster’s book was included in the original PNEU programs under English History.

Chapters contain many historic images, poems, quotes, photographs, and maps and begin with ‘Famous Persons’ and ‘Principal Events’ of the time period which are helpful for work in Book of Centuries and Century Charts.
